Re: electrolysis question help.

hi everyone - I have been suffering from hirsutism since my early 20's (just turned 31) and the excess facial hair has been very very difficult and I would say impacted my life in almost every way. I have tried laser which had no effect at all after 3 treatments, so eventhough they recommend more, I don't want to put the money into it because of no results (even miniscule ones.) Have also tried vaniqa with no results and am currently on my 2nd round of a combination of spironolact, actos & metformin (diabetic as well), and birth control. I am thinking about electrolysis but given the dissapointments I've had in treatment I am still hesitant. Has anyone had any sort of long term success with it? I'd love to hear your experiences good or bad. Also, I'm trying to find a reputable one in my area, which includes the western part of pennsylvania, cleveland ohio, and buffalo new york areas. Am also looking to find a dermatologist who is familiar with hirsutism and pcos and all that that encompasses. Any suggestions? Tweet
