Re: The Wild Wild World We Live In - What If?
The opening theater of operation: Arizona. The ball is at mid field, dead smack on the 50 yard line, AKA - universally recognized neutral territory. The Packers have possession of the ball. Therefore, by traditionally accepted rules of engagement, the Patriots are of course said to be "on defense". The action is suspended for words from the sponsors, providing a convenient, timely distraction for the true agenda of team Patriot. Team Patriot launches an assault. Mayhem ensues. The commotion is announced to the crowd as merely a situation of the Patriots doing what they have the supreme right to do. What do they do? Seize the ball and ship it along with it's offensive stars to New York City, where they then swarm, invading by air, land and sea. NYC is supposed to be in shock & awe. Team Patriot quickly establishes a front of operations at a point clearly inside Giant's territory... lets say the 25 yard line for sake of argument. Strangely enough, there happens to be a crew of internationally selected officials monitoring and judging the situation. One of them even tosses a yellow flag against team Patriot. Team Patriot tosses it's red flag and demands a review of the situation, claiming that what they do is merely the cost of defending it's home, the home of freedom no less.... even though home in this sense is literally thousands of miles off course from where team Patriot is conducting it's offensive nonetheless portrayed as defense. The call is overturned. As the clock runs out on the final play, team Patriot strikes pay dirt; the winning score. In the erupting frenzy, a microphone attached to a camera is hastily engineered into close proximity of a random albeit exuberant member of team Patriot, who smiles broadly into the lense and mouths " this is a great day for a great country who's people only want to see done what is right; spreading democracy around the world and thereby keeping it safe for the world. I wanna thank the good lord for being with us and seeing us through to our great victory. In the process of perpetrating defeat upon them, we have, of course, now liberated the Giants, which is all we were after in the first place... .and I'm going to Disneyland!".
