Re: Is plastic making us fat??

I would not mind a trend back to stainless steel
and glass myself as I use those but often those
alternatives are not easy to find.

Still, I get your point and imagine the other side
is a mentality that if we can take out this tree or
that, then we can save the forest, but in reality,
when it is rotted from the ground up, ultimately,
the forest is best being replanted. Hard to know,
especially with all the exports what the level of
toxicity is in most items, food and otherwise...

The article does raise the question however and that
is news and although those of us in the choir have
heard this song before, the muggles would do well
to consider their choices in packaging and the things
they use in their life. If enough people refuse to
buy products packaged a certain way, it is an
effective way to get a company to use something
else. Glass standards are lower though now too
and so I do think about lead...

Thank goodness for the immune system and the human
body's ability to tolerate a high level of contamination.
Some species, like birds, for example, can only handle
20 minutes of exposure to something cooking in teflon,
and then they die...

blessings,
Zoe
