Salicylic might help but might irritate more than it will help. But it is an antinflamatory also....worth a try .

Also worth a try is the zinc oxide diaper ointment....not sure if it will stay on but I do think it adheres well on regualr skin and is white so takes away the redness. Have not tried it myself however.

I think petroleum jellies are irritating to that area and don't have healing properties, in fact they harbor infection...


Also worth trying is over the counter vaginal yeast cream... these are powerful creams that will getrid of a yeast..


Also has anyone tried magic wash to clean out mouth. Could be something irritaitng in the saliva from sinuses.
