What really heals hard skin?
I was thinking and pondering about the situation. I looked on my hands and found an area of dry skin and same on my big toe. The thing is just like my lips, i can peel them and the skin returns, hard and crusty. What is the difference? The only thing is i don't let my lips go hard and crusty aka leaving the skin on. Even when i have left the skin on my palms and toe to heal, they just remain hard and can be peeled. It just hit me. No diet or supplement is going to cure EC. The skin in that area is damaged. I'll be honest and it hurts. As i looked at my hand and toe, after a long long period of leaving it alone, it hasn't healed. Same scenario with my lips. How to return it back to normal is the only question to be asked. It has been caused by aggravation from whatever kind, whether Candida, lip licking, allergy etc but ridding the cause isn't the cure.
When i can find a cure for the hard dry skin on my palm or the hard skin on my toe, then the same for my lips. Its simple but won't necessarily be easy. The skin has to grow and get hard/crust. Reality hit me. It won't heal the way i want it to aka magical cream.
So to all that have their remedies, these should have been applied to PREVENT EC but not to cure it. Any diet/supplement/cream should have been used BEFORE EC to prevent it occurring. Allergies may be the initial cause but getting rid of them is definitely not the cure.
What i'm saying is. What's is done is done. Nothing complicated about it. The skin is just going to crust and become hard if left on... like my palm and big toe.
The cure? I don't know.
Its the same thing as Hard Thick skin on a toe, i think its called Corns... i think.
Same thing.
Hope this thread settled some of you that are stressing, so you don't have to spend your money buying products.
Curing this you would need some free time. Get the lips to a stage where the skin is hard/thick and move on from there. I don't know what to move onto but i have my ideas.
