Re: I was diagnosed to have a Hiatal Hernia?
Hi
Usually onset of herniation of tissue is caused by weakness or deficiency of some sort.
It might be useful to follow the chiropractic manipulation route followed by water fasting.
There is a lot of info on this site regarding fasting. What strikes me about this approach is that it would give the digestive system time to rest and in time heal.
When we are really feeling sick - we don't eat.
Its natures way of telling us to stop eating so that it can sort itself out - somewhere along the line we have forgotten this and rely on the doctor to give us a pill and make it go away - which usually confuses the body and serious conditions often worsen.
With a Hiatal hernia, I would get a bit of manipulation followed by a 10 - 15 days water only fasting (all medication should stop)
Water should be taken in small amounts at a time so that no bloating or movement/distortion occurs in the digestive system.
Complete bed rest and inactivity would also be advisable to give the herniated area a chance to heal.
Getting your chiropractor to check you periodically would also be useful.
All this is just a suggestion - If you do decide to follow the
Water Fasting route please make sure that you read widely around this topic and if possible get professional supervision from someone experienced with fasting.
There are also retreats that make this process easier and more reassuring as it can be daunting to perform for the first time.
Good luck
