Ulcerative Colitis Cure - Vitamin E Enema & Diet

Hi Sheldon,

I am reading your posts since last one year but have not started practicing it. Actually, I am suffering from UC since last one year. It may be more than a year but diognized in dec 2006. I am currently taking prednisone (10 mg), Lialda, imuran (50 mg) and some ayurvedic(herbal) medicines. Actually, I feel the ayurvedic medicines works for me as I was feeling better for about 8 months. When I was tappering prednisone the problem again starts. I had decreased it to 2.5 mg and was doing well. Anyway, now I want to start V E enema but at the same time I don't want to stop my ayurvedic medicines. Is there any problem of taking some herbal medicines when I start enema? My diet is very much similar to your advised diet. I am taking only vegetables (vegetarian) and white rice. I was taking some fruits when I was feeling better but stopped everything now. I was taking soy milk also.
Now my only concern is that whether I can start vitamin e enema along with all the medications I am taking? I want to stop the prednisone and imuaran as soon as possible.
