Does Lyme Disease exist in Australia

Hi all,

been trying to reveal a mystery illness I have had for a long time and many of the symptoms match Lyme including the insomnia and I find I am mainly sleeping during the day. I grew up on a farm and I would say I got by ticks and these stick fast fleas a number of times. Does Lyme disease exist in Australia ? I would like to rule it out if possible but I have a friend who has it and her problems are rather severe I have similar problems but have been using many natural methods to treat the symptoms including many parasite cleanses and Castor oil and Urine Therapy.
