I would have to say, that in the old testament it was an eye for an eye. Meaning, if you killed someone you should be killed. etc.
When Jesus came, things changed. He became the sacrifice. He told us not to kill. He said if someone does you wrong get away from them because he will be the avenger. Not us. So, if I go by that, I would say let God judge the evil person. Make sure he never escapes prison to hurt others. But let God decide when he dies and where he goes after. Tweet
