Re: Survey - Death Penalty
I am pro-life, and I am for the death penalty.
I am against the practice of murdering innocent young people who didn't ask to come in this world. But who gets slaughtered for no reason other than he/she was an inconvenience to his/her mother(and father). That's very wrong in my eyes.
I am for the death penalty where we kill by electrocution an animal human being who murdered innocent people b/c he is a very sick individual. The man on death row who raped and strangled a twelve-year-old girl should be excluded from society, and ultimately put to death for that heinous crime.
Granted every case is unique, but for most of those crazy, insane people, think Dahmer and Bundy, and people like that, they should be put to rest so as not to be a predator in our society anymore. These types cannot be transformed into a better person, they are simply evil by nature, and they will kill again if given the chance. Why put him to death instead of keeping him in jail for the rest of his life?...b/c he can't be rehabilitated, so why should taxpayers foot the bill to keep him alive in jail. Not to mention our actions have consequences, and when you kill someone in cold blood you should have to pay for that. Also, it tells other potential murderers that they will pay the ultimate price for killing someone.
<>Killing someone in the heat of passion is not a death penalty ruling, IMHO. IOW, if a man comes home and finds his wife in bed with another man, and he gets his gun and shoots them b/c he is hurt by the image of seeing a woman he is madly in love with screwing around with someone else, I would, if I were a judge, give him 15-25 years, but NOT the death penalty. The man is not sick, it was a crime of passion, not right, but understandable. But for those individuals, who premeditate and prey on people, stalking them, and then torturing them, raping them, and killing them, I say give the the death penalty! They are horrible incorrigible people who deserves to die for their crimes.<>
The babies who did not do anything wrong, but who receive capital punishment by their own mother and fathers no less is a travesty of justice. They should be able to grow, play, love, laugh, create, and procreate as a basic right of life.
