Hi Beth - this is a good question :-)

Generally, if something feels good, it is a sign that you are in proper alignment with source and thus going dwonstream to reach manifestation of your desires.

Doing something nice for someone feels good. This could be giving a handicapped person a seat on a bus, giving a compliment or giving a present to someone.

So I say that charity work will raise your vibration because it feels good to do good.

Rich people who give from the goodness of their heart get even richer because the better they feel, the more abundance is coming their way.

On the other hand, the poor poeple will be focused on being poor if they depend on others to have food, shelter, money UNLESS they start changing their thoughts about their life.

Only if they start focusing on abundance etc it will start manifesting and they can come out of poverty.
