I am sure this has been addressed

by Abraham-Hicks yet could someone point me in the direction, please?

I was reading a book by Wallace Wattles...Science of Success. In it, he states (not verbatim) not to volunteer or do charitable work for the 'poor'. Because by doing so, you are 'thinking' about being poor. Wallace Wattles wrote in the early 1900s about LOA, it was just not called that, then.

Anyway, I am wondering if Abraham-Hicks ever addressed this? I am wanting to help out, with a food bank or soup kitchen or something. I am not sure if this affects the vibrational level though.

Can someone help me on this?
