Re: I will let you all know if things improve with Braggs.
I understand. And who is to say what is IC and what isn't? Clearly Dr's don't even know. But as you've seen, your bladder tends to be sensitive, and
citric acid is definitely a bladder irritant, even for people who don't have true IC.
When I first met my doctor (may he rest in peace) he handed me a piece of paper with a list of foods to avoid if you had bladder problems. At the top of the list were Citrus Fruits (and
citric acid ) followed by coffee, cola, artificial sweeteners and alcohol. He handed this list to all of his patients, no matter what type of bladder problem they had. He found that eliminating these foods tended to help all of his patients.
He was way ahead of his time. I miss him. Too bad he died at the hands of the medical establishment he worked within. He was diabetic and took a new drug for diabetes and it made his kidneys fail. How ironic that a urologist die of kidney failure. This is one of the reasons I hang out on CureZone instead of leaving my life in the hands of people who think they know everything.
