Puppy Dog is EATING MY COUCH!!!

Every day when I come home from work, whether on a lunch break, or ending a shift, I come home to things torn up all over the floor. She shreds books, magazines, anything she can get her teeth on...but NOT HER TOYS!!

She plays with her toys but apparently they're not enough.

The other day I came home to find the front of my loveseat cover ripped and she had ripped off the foam and cloth on the inside. I covered it up with a blanket and drove an hour to IKEA to replace the $50 cover for it. Luckily, I was too tired and lazy to put the new cover on because today I came home and she had ripped up the side of the couch!
I just don't know what to do!!

I don't have a kennel for her so my current plan of action is to keep her in the bathroom while I'm gone and puppy-proof it as best I can. I figure my bathroom would be larger than any kennel anyway.

I just feel like such a failure! I want to cry over something she's done almost everyday!
