Re: day 8
Hi rawmr,
I can relate to feeling that disgust.. many years ago when I first went raw I couldn't believe what went into people's mouths and with what they filled their shopping trolleys.. made me very judgemental indeed... I was younger then!!!
But then I realised they were not my responsibility, even though we are all connected bla, bla, bla ( I loved how you wrote that!). I just set out to be a good example because that's all you can do really. Most people aren't ready for changes to lifestyle. I've discovered that many people can't think for themselves.. eating like their parents did, voting like their parents did... perhaps we are blessed with an inate curiosity that drives us to explore different ways of being, of living, of eating.
Anyway, my thoughts are with you 'cos I 've been there, but you will get over it and the people of this world will again be humans that you can relate to ...and perhaps you can again assist them with your knowledge and example.
I'm just reading a book called "Eating Less:Say goodbye to Overeating" by Gillian Riley. It's a fascinating read and I encourage you to borrow it from your library if you are a binger or overeater.
What I love about fasting is that it keeps me in the moment, nothing else to do but "be" whilst my body does the work.
All the best to you Rawmr,
