Re: Epsom salts are known as 'death to the colon'...

Hi JeSuisButterfly,
I can tell you do not understand much Bio-organic chemistry in reletionship to the human body!!

Epsom Salt is Magnesium Sulfate and when it enters the body and combines with water, there is a chemical reaction which takes place which releases Magnesium energy which the Liver and the Kidneys "MUST" have in order to remove Toxins from the body!!!!

Also the sulfate part reacts and causes a Release of sulfuric Acid Energy which will react against any Alkaline Minerals, in this case , as I suggested taking extra Calcium, and this reaction against the Calcium then causes a Release of Calcium Energy for the body to use, and some of the additional sulfuric acid also reacts against any Proteins and will help maintain this in the isotope of an Alkaline form of Protein!!

As you see not everything may be as it first seems!!

For there were reasons for what I suggested!!

As to salt as you talk about, it is mainly Sodium Chloride, it is just that the regular table salt may not contain the other Alkaline Minerals as the one you suggested, in that case any thing to get more Alkaline Minerals should be considered!!

But this salt will not provide the same Energy Release needed by the body as Epsom Salt will provide as I have shared a small idea with you now!!

Smile Tis your choice.
