Re: What is Disapproval? - How to Allow

Thank you for your wonderful comments bluestar (great name)

"I wld also like to add that I believe it is helpful to cultivate a perspective that "allows" others to change. If one expects a certain person to be disapproving of one, that person is usually more than happy to accomodate your perspective. When we visualize others as evolving and/or whole, when we can learn not to "reflect" back another's shortcomings, we begin to experience a world where not only ourselves have "evolved" but those around us as well."

Yes, most definitely. We were talking about this some threads back, about seeing only what we liked in others, allowing that to grow, to hold them in the best possible light. Rather than seeing the whole of "what is", is to see them as they would like to be also. With that intention, it allows others to see the best in themselves too as we shine the light on all that can be.

Yes, reflecting back to them their evolved selves. I like that :-)
