Thank you for the responses. Danielle, that's funny your husband didn't want you to get the Mirena. Mine didn't want me to get it either. He was ready and willing to get a vasectomy last March when I went in to get the Mirena. It was my last ditch effort to avoid the vasectomy because I wasn't ready. I feel for you being SO young. I'm 34 and wanted to be done having children by 35. I also pictured myself only having 2 kids, so I can't figure out what my problem is. I guess it's because I'm a very sentimental person. I'm sad that my husband and I won't make any more babies together. I just keep telling myself that I need to listen to him this time. If I'd listened to him last March, I wouldn't have had to go through the Mirena hell. Tweet
