Whilst I agree with you in principle Telluride, can I also say let's not jump all over this person accusing them of lying, when on the face of it, they sound very genuine indeed.

I'd rather have many 'suspect' posts with few facts, than no-one daring to post their story for fear of being labelled a spammer or a liar.

To the original poster: Congratulations to your friend by the way! Let's hope their remission is for real! And please don't be put off finding out a little more info and telling us the details.
