Telman, you'd need to live in the sunny south of the USA to understand my glee over the thought of growing dandelion in a garden.

I quit putting weed killer on my yard about 10 yrs ago, let it go back to nature and I would easily have 1000s of wild dandelions in my yard and that is with all the neighbors treating their yard.

Am I digging my own dandelion root?  nope, but I might start at any moment ... bet the stuff stops growing!!!!!

Dr Christopher stated in a video I have that the herbs your body needs grown in your vacinity.  Wonder what I need this poke sallet and plantain for...... even after 20 years of weed killing I've got dandelion, poke sallet and plantain in every area of my yard.
