pattie,
You are a mother and you have an ill son so I'm guessing you can imagine what my mother is going through with ther only son deteriorating before her eyes of whom she had hopes and dreams for, with nothing she can do. This is not something that affects one person, my whole family and support groups of friends are affected. your road crossing analogy sounds plausible in theory, but when you are crossing the road you know the risk is getting hit by a car - you know the possible implication. When I took humaworm, did I know a risk would be I would get ALS and die, you think if I knew that was a risk would I have done it? Did I even know what ALS really was? When you then research it thoroughly and find out what you did triggered it then what I don't think you can relate my situation to a road crossing analogy. RG doesn't deserve the blame maybe you're right, but he has to know about it and realise what can happen to someone who is ill-advised with their product. The beauty of being in his position is that when things go right with his product he can take all the credit for it, but when something goes wrong it's the fault of the person taking it - it's pretty good safety net. If someone else was in my position and said they would take things in a rosy manner and not lash out is plain lying, simple as that.
