<Sugar or wheat in 8 months?! All I have to say is wow.>>
Yes, I'm in this for the long haul if necessary. I figure it took many years to get into the condition I was in, and I expect it will take a while to get totally well. I consider my candida protocol a lifestyle, and believe it or not I have embraced it. I've come to enjoy the simplicity of the diet. Sure, it crimps my social life. For example, I don't eat out. But I'm a homebody anyway, so no big deal. The better I get, the happier I am to be doing this protocol and the more grateful I am to live each day and take each breath. Have any of you seen "The Secret" and the guy in the DVD who talks about his "gratitude rock"? I've been holding my gratitude rock for a few minutes each day, and it helps. I think I'm getting better faster by welcoming the blessings of healing rather than resenting the challenges of the process.
