Re: Contra-indications for Betaine HCL?

You have to turn sodium chlorite into chlorine dioxide by activating it before it gets to stomach acid. If you don't activate it the stomach acid will immediately take it to the salt and water stage and almost none will be available for use in the body. It would be like taking a standard "stabilized oxygen" product.

If you have a shortage of stomach acid I don't think it will hurt to take Betaine Hydrochloride (a separate time) with Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . And I don't think Miracle-Mineral-Supplement will neutralize stomach acid to any large degree.

In other words. We have to take a weak acid and activate it before it comes into contact with a strong acid or it loses it's staying power,

I don't think I'm explaining this well, but I had the same question a while back and I searched for the answer and it was this only worded better!
