Thank you for that picture. That picture makes me realize that I've seen this particular plant, at least, I've seen the above ground leafy portion, it tends to be prominent around here in the eary to mid spring. I've always wondered about this plant, I often see it on wooded roadsides or small patches of forrest where there are residential neighborhoods nearby. I always wondered why this plant has such prominent leaf growth in the spring that seems to shrivel up and go away by summer. It's nice to now be able to recognize the plant, I know where to get some if/when I need it. Thanks.
