Re: on Soy

My weakness was cheese. I love it! Especially Mozzarella. I don't recall having goat or sheep cheese, I'm sure it doesn't compare, but I'm willing to try if it takes the cravings away - not that I'm having any that are uncontrollable. My wife and I are currently modifying the Weight Watchers diet (taking into consideration my need to eliminate cholesterol) and I'm on sort of a "plateau". I like to snack at 10 AM and at 3 PM, but I have not found anything yet that counts low enough not to effect the over all calorie count and be satisfying enough to satisfy me.

I have found that if I have a coffee about when I would like a snack my need for a snack is diminished. I've tried to look for something to use as a substitute for milk and as yet have only found soy. I rather like it and have not noticed any ill effect from it, so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or not.

I have also thought about trying the liver cleanse, but as yet I'm just in the inquisitve stage. If there is any light you can shed on this I would appreciate it a great deal.

Sorry for rambling - but this is a new subject for me and because my health is on the line, I want to get as much info as I can.

thanks

R
