If you don't understand why people believe in what man or woman says or writes then why do you believe in the bible and repeatedly quote scripture? The scriptures were written by man, so your thoughts seem a little hypocritical. Don't get me wrong, I am a Christian and believe that Jesus Christ walked the earth and that there is a God in Heaven, and that's based on what men wrote in that "book". Do we know 100% for sure that what the Bible says is true or is it just a bunch of stories spun from hundreds of years ago? I guess that's what makes religion (all religions) something of FAITH rather than FACT.
