Judging people is one of my hobbies.

You really have no clue, do you? Take it from a pro who's read the book and made a fortune in the credit market. Just because you read a book doesn't qualify you to do anything, my 535 credit score friend. The Kevin Trudeau s of the world ARE MOST DEFINATELY harmful because the world is full of fools, people who have not learned economics in their public schools. They know nothing! I meet these dunces every day of the work week. Grown adults who don't know the basics of credit and how it will follow you around, how it will affect the percentages you pay the rest of your natural life here on earth. Life is dictated by your credit worthiness whether you want to accept that fact or not. Nobody asked you to make the rules, did they? They are what they are. Credit rules! Everybody needs money. The ones who say they don't are liars and I'll let you in on a dirty little secret...more than 91% of all the rich and famous players you see in the media and around your segment of society...all have gone bankrupt personally or business-wise. Without that safety net where they could shield their assets and wipe the slate clean, half of them would still be working for straight salary! Even the radio "genius" who touts arrogantly to only pay with cash, never take out credit, eat those "beans and rice" until you're 53 years old and maybe then you can start living life. Total crap! And he knows it. But guess what...94% or greater of the entire adult American society has a loan out on something. That's right, and it's not the fault of the credit card companies...it's your fault. You. Your wife. Your neighbor. Your pastor. Your mom and dad. They all have credit, they all have loans.

I'm "bust'n your balls" on this topic because I know when someone doesn't know what they're talking about as opposed to one who lives it. You don't know how you're bad information (opinion) can lead a fool down the wrong path. Kevin's garbage logic can literally tear apart a family with this "pie in the sky" dream you apparantly advocate. Don't worry about those collectors and those mounting interest charges, say "Alakazaam DEBT BE GONE!!!" and they'll all go away!! Please. You probably are in the "buy all the properties you want for no money down" crowd, aren't you? I've done it. I've bought homes and college town apartments for zero money down and borrowed the equity straight up upon close. Those were the 1980's, this is now. Go try and do that now with your banker, see what he tells you. I'll wait. Try it. I don't care if you have $100,000 worth of equity in that property! Real estate is soft, appraisals are down, equities are falling, foreclosures are peaking, banks are tightening the screws. You better walk in the door with some down payment, a good job, and a solid credit score. That's reality after the Sub-prime Meltdown of 2007!

In conclusion, class, I want everyone reading this passage to realise one thing: Credit can be used wisely, can be used to make you rich. I've done it. I use it wisely and will do so until I'm dead in the ground. It's not my fault you were never taught this in school. Even colleges don't teach it, I know, I know. An American tragedy. You want to learn how to be wealthy and run your life like a well-oiled machine...ask someone who's done it! Even better, ask someone who's done it and is STILL doing it! The guy on the radio says to save up all your pennies until you get $200,000 for that house. I don't know anybody who's got $200,000 outside of tax-deferred that can accomplish that goal. You don't either. Kevin says to wipe out all your debts with a little phrase or to skirt your creditors, get them to lower their outstanding balances with you, just a simple phone call or two. He probably believes in the Easter Bunny as well. Credit. That's how you buy big ticket items. Credit gets you into that house, credit gets you the car, credit gets that education paid for, credit pays for your daughter's wedding, credit pays for the home equity loan, credit pays for that emergency in life you weren't planning on. Credit, for the lack of a better term, is good...
