Thank you for posting this. I can so relate to your days of thinking you wouldn't be around long enough to watch your kids grow up. The only good thing I've gotten from this experience is the fact that I will never take my health for granted again. And I will never blindly trust a doctor again. I will always do my own research before taking any drug or before undergoing any type of surgery.

I did "save" someone from Mirena a couple of weeks ago. My hairdresser actually had an appt. to get one 2 weeks from our conversation about it. I told her about my experience and about this forum. She checked it out, did some research and cancelled her appt. right away. I felt so good about that. I would be more than willing to do whatever has to be done to take this drug company down and get Mirena off the market. But, we all know how powerful those drug companies are. So, I will continue to spread the word on my own. Thanks again and God Bless to you all.
