Re: Life after Mirena

After reading everyone else's post, I feel very blessed to be feeling normal. I only wish that we had all been better informed to begin with, and hope we can prevent other from finding out about Mirena the hard way. I am finding it very hard to believe that it is even 50% effective, I think a lot of women just haven't realize what is causing their pain yet. Including myself, I know of 4 women who have gotten this, and all 4 are experiencing side effects. I have a little pain in my heel, but I've contributed that to past job related, and early arthritis. I hope you are as lucky as I was in that. I know it is scary, I was convinced I would never be normal again, and didn't even realize that things had returned to normal until this week. I had kind of put it out of my mind around Thanksgiving, and all of the sudden, here I am, happy again! Thank you for sharing your story with us all, lets hope we can get the word about about this product.
