was able to cure his own cardiovascular symptoms by consuming dispersive solutions of potassium citrate and he wrote a long detailed study of his results, in which he compared the dispersive, versus the coagulative properties of different solutions.

He found that solutions which contain 2:1 electrolytes and 3:1 electrolytes are highly coagulating of the blood colloid, because they drastically lower the zeta potential of the colloid particles. Zeta potential is a measure of the forces between the colloids. A 2:1 electrolyte is called 2:1, because it has a cation having a +2 charge, in combination with an anioin having a -1 charge. Such 2:1 electrolytes include magnesium hydroxide Mg(OH)2 and calcium hydroxide Ca(OH)2, as well as magnesium chloride and calcium chloride MgCl2 and CaCl2. An example of a 3:1 electrolyte is aluminum chloride AlCl3 , because it has a cation of aluminum with a +3 charge, and anions of chloride, each of which carry a -1 charge. All of these electrolytes are coagulating according to Riddick, and are well-known to be destructive of zeta potential by those skilled in the art of colloid science.

Potassium citrate on the other hand K3CIT, has three potassiums, each of which carry a +1 charge, and one citrate anion, which has a -3 charge. Riddick found the 1:3 electrolytes to be the most dispersive.

Dr. T.C. McDaniel, MD in Cincinnati (after himself having cardiovascular disease in the late 1960's) took up Riddick's work and incorporated it into his medical practice with astounding successes in treating cardiovascular disease. He is well into his 90's and still practices medicine to this day.

I think that those who attempt to adjust their "body pH" with 2:1 electrolytes should at least be made aware of this information, before any decisions are made. The long-term effects of consuming substances which lower blood zeta potential are probably unknown. There may be effects on brain and other neural tissue, seriously, if the blood is constantly forced in a coagulative state.

It could be worth calling Dr. McDaniel to get his opinion.
