Even though Moreless is pretty good about telling people to use what you have if that is the best you can do, I would say that the Calcium Hydroxide is highly alkalizing and may be the best to use. There is a reason he sticks with his formulation...it works.
I'm not really sure how important the distilled water is in mixing the CH but it is very important to shake it well before using. I have been using filtered tap water some of the time but distilled is probably the best choice.
Many of us are being blessed by all the time and effort ML has put into coming up with this protocol but there is no law that says you can't come up with something of your own. He does tell us to think for ourselves. But if you don't see the results you were hoping for, I hope you will rethink and try harder to get the supplies ML suggests and see for yourself if there is a big difference.
