Re: Does anyone here SMOKE??
I feel about chocolate kind of like Trapper does about cigarettes -- if you are going to do it, do it well (i.e. get good dark chocolate that has some nutritional value, rather than Hershey's kisses or something...) and forget about it!
I am so grateful for someone saying that no amount of lecturing can change someone's mind or get them into willingness to stop a habit or addiction. When my dad used to lecture me about drinking, it only made me want to drink more!
Love the addict, not the addiction (whatever it is!) and pray for them. That's about all you can do.
I AM hoping that things like OP and
Iodine and other cleansing protocols I have tried will reverse/ameliorate/amend the effects of smoking to some degree. Does anyone have an opinion on that? i.e. can you "undo" damage started by smoking years ago with detox and cleansing and supplementation? I feel that my skin looks a lot better now than it did a year ago when I got to this site. I will be 40 next week and people have been consistently surprised by that (I dress fairly young in jeans, etc., and act pretty immature, etc. so it's not all about my youthful radiance I am sure! ;).
