i can confirm your sentiments.

i have never believed that smoking causes cancer. it is also not the primary cause of emphysema. i cured my emphysema yet still smoke. smoking soes not help, in fact it aggravates and enables these things, but it is diet and lifestyle in general which causes cancer. lack of Iodine in the body promotes cancer.

i have great empathy for those who have lost loved ones to health problems and who smoked which added to those problems. but a vendetta against tobacco is not logical. it is purely emotional and not helpful to those who do smoke. the second hand smoke issue is no different than second hand inhaling of any toxins, most of which are found in the home and much more dangerous than tobacco. anyone sitting by a campfire or with a fireplace in their home are at more risk.
