Sounds like what I went through at the beginning of my 4 years of CFS. Sounds like you HPA (brain) is overactivated because of severe stress. You need to address the anxiety first. Things that should help: Valerian, Taurine, Theanine, GABA. Try one or all. You may find that L-tryptophan helps the morning anxiety (5HTP might make it worse, it did for me). The most helpful thing for me for anxiety was Klonopin (Rx).

You need to realize that your brain chemicals are whacked out right now. It's like an out of control roller coaster and you're hanging on. You can try to deal with the mental stress but it is almost impossible until you get your chemistry fixed.

Fixing your sleep is also paramount. You can google for natural things to help you sleep. The supplements I mentioned above can help as well as melatonin if you tolerate it.

Hold on to the thought that you will get better. Some days for me were horrible but I never had more than one or two very bad days in a row. I knew relief (somewhat) was coming I just had to be patient.

Also try to view you mind as something that belongs to you but NOT you. You can observe the crazy workings of your mind without being as identified with it. "Your mind" is anxious not your self. Try to witness what is happening in your mind, put some distance between you and your mind. It is very possible.
