Re: BLRusch, my heart is with you. Here's what happened to me.
i'm sorry i'm posting without reading all the previous posts thoroughly, so i don't know if i'm repeating what others have said, i have a liddle one here (2 yrs old) and he's sleeping, and i have little time to spend on the computer! fledgling you write such beautiful posts, i had to skim for now but will come back.
i've read that emotional problems can be allergies to food (gluten, eggs and dairy are at the top of the list, though bananas have caused it as well, so keep a diary of reactions to foods), also there can be deficiencies in omega 3 fatty acids (fish oils), so get those in his diet asap. Also, regulate his blood
Sugar with diet changes, avoid processed sugars and flours, i believe some people have mentioned that already. other nutrients that help lots with mood/behaviour problems include a B complex, and magnesium/calcium (alkalizing foods as well). i would definitely take him to a naturopath doctor, maybe one who is really good at muscle testing, that might instantly find the cause (i'm guessing nutrient deficiency or allergic reaction, or a mixture of the two, as gluten intolerance can cause deficiencies). if there is gluten intolerance, look into gut healing remedies, like l-glutamine, aloe vera, probiotics, etc.
good luck to you! i just stumbled in here because i'm concerned about my son's paleness, cold feet, breath, etc... he may be diabetic but none of us in the family are diabetic so it's not an inherited thing... possibly caused by
Antibiotics at birth and subsequent medications for fever and pain during hospital visits? talk about bad parent syndrome, i feel bad for not sticking to my guns about medicating him. i never had that many medications/
Antibiotics so early in life. i have to listen to my own advice given above or my guy will be having behaviour problems as well.
