Re: Off and on symptoms?

Hi cured,

I was thinking about you when I woke up this morning. When I started going after parasites, I at least knew to look for tapeworm, although I didn't what species I had. Pork tape worm is lethal, beef tape worm is actually even considered by some people to be a benefical organism- they used to sell beef tape worm eggs as diet pills. I had a large beef tape worm, and then found round worms, and pin worms. These are bad to have, but they are not immediately lethal.

Depending on where your traveled, if you have been to Africa, Asia or Latin American for any lenght of time, I would go find a parasitologist. I don't know if you've read much about parasites, but you might check out Guinea Worm, and River Blindness, before you do much of anything. I am not sure what herbal treatments will work on the more exotic critters, I think you should do some more research before you start anything. It's possible that you could make your situation worse.

I think you have symptoms for parasites, and some of the tropical varieties are really nasty. If I were in your shoes, I would research parasites from the areas that you liveed in, and find out how they are killed. I used the herbal remedies originally because if I did have a pork tape worm, I could have had cysts in my brain, and killing the cysts would cause me to have siezures. The most commonly prescribed medication for killing cysts is supposed to be prescribed with corticalsteroids to prevent neurological problems.

This sounds trite, but look before you leap.

As far as side effects from the herbs, Wormwood is used to make absinth, and it's a low level hallucinogen. It's like taking a bummer bummer acid trip. (I'm old enough that I used all that stuff when it was still legal.) It affects your thinking, you get stupid, and you focus on small entertaining details, not good if you are a shop keep like I am and you have customers ripping you off and cops shaking you down.

I've had all sorts of nasty symptoms from die off, I turn white, I get dizzy, my heart will race, I sweat a lot, I get random diahrrea, probably the mental impairment from the Wormwood was the worst. I've lost my balance, and almost fallen more than once. Even though some of the die-off stuff just knocked me flat, once I was confident with what I had going on, I just went for it anyway, and kept increasing the herbs to get to a lethal dose.

They are really tough organisms, and they escape detection because they are experts at invisibility. My father's amoebic dysentary finally cleared up becasue he accidentally drank a cup of clorine bleach, and he had to have his stomach pumped. He had trouble with ulcers from then on, and got even crazier, but the amoebas were gone. I have to admit, watching my fathers and sisters health problems made me pretty hesitant to travel.

Really, the best of luck on it, if you have regualar north american parasites, then the regular herbals should work. If you suspect anything else, I'd do a lot more thinking about it.

Good luck,

Julie
