Re: Children and Adrenal Fatigue
Hello again all,
I did forget to mention another thought...I read through Dr. Wilsons's book on adrenal fatigue, along with some medical books, and it was noted that it was possible for normally healthy individuals to get adrenal fatigue from overstress, in and of itself. When the adrenal glands are pushed to the max on a continual basis (my son was having periodic migraines), they can become fatigued, and the next stressor could be the straw that broke the camel's back...so to speak. By building up the body with excellent sources of nutrition, and by building the adrenals as well, and giving them a period of rest, it is possible to bring them back to normal.
My own husband is a go-to guy, and can work circles around men half his age (he is almost 50), and yet when it comes to about a week of going like this, he will not feel well. Thankfully, his adrenals build back up after a period of rest, and he is back up and running. My poor son was worse, though, and his adrenals did not build back up quickly.
Have a great day,
Jill Mary
