I have had two occassions where Vitamin E gel and/or Turmeric Powder mixed with distilled water helped. You may try this on a small area and see if it helps. I remember mom used to put termeric on even smallest swelling we got and it healed very rapidly.

Vitamin E helps after you heal and have a scar, the scar eventually will disappear.

I also like Colloidal Silver .
