Well doing the hole sealing in the aura for your own aura can be done in many ways, but for me it's easier if I just fill them with the pure light of love and brush the filled up holes and around with my hands while visualizing a comb/glove made of pure light made of love and finish the task by doing a brush over all my aura.
After I did the brushing action, I then massage metaphorically the areas affected to help integrate the pure light of love with the rest of the aura's energy and smooth the integration.
Obviously you have to finish with an etheric/astral/spritual shower to smooth out and cleanse the whole aura.

Of course that the whole process is harder to do when you don't have good visualization skills, but you can try to visualize yourself in front of yourself with your eyes and use your hands and perform your magic.

For others and you, another approach to the brushing if you think the edge of the aura is just like the feathers like the birds. You just have to smooth out the ruffled feathers like birds do.

It's up to your imagination and how you feel about doing particular action, since the heart knows better which action yields better result.
