Re: Bursitis and sugar: hip and shoulder bursitis
In the Metagenics brand I took the EPA-DHA 720 Lemon Softgels. I noticed that they had an "extra-strength" one and brought this to my chiropractor's attention and he noted to me that the extra strength one's actually had less than the 720's. I checked and this was correct. In the PBL brand, yes, that is the exact ones that I take. I just checked again on the Amazon site and they do have them for $26.95 for a bottle of 100. (It looks like a different lable, but it is the same ones.) As I said, I take 6 a day, 3 in the a.m. and 3 in the p.m. You can take them all at once, but it seems to cut down on burping the fishy taste if I take 3 at a time. Once I wasn't feeling any pain from my bursitis, I slacked off on the pills, as we do sometimes. It took several weeks, but eventually the pain began to come back, so I am now back on them again. This reminded me of something else Sears had said in his book... if you don't believe what he says, take them for a while and then stop. I hate to think that I would have to take any type of medicine or pills forever. I've never been one that likes to take them at all. But they have sure helped me and I'd take the pills any day over the pain. Please remember that it took 5-6 weeks to feel the effects. I hope I've helped you and I hope that, if you try these, they help you as much as they have me.
