This is one of the best articles I have seen on fraud in the olive oil industry. There is also a good article in the Augut 7 New Yorker Magazine. Both generally follow my personal experiences. I was in Spain in the 80s when all the people died from tainted olive oil. The fraud in the industry is serious.
It is not hard to find really good extra virgin olive oil and would be happy to recommend to all. Ciao.
