I don't know if I'm imagining it, but it almost looks lik there's some sort of 3 or 4 (or more?) part sucking device on one end, which makes me think maybe it is a meat parasite, in which case, would cooking it render it harmless or do we now need to parasite cleanse? (me being a breastfeeding mama)

these are smaller than I thought, maybe less than a 1/4 inch in length, and a mm in width, smaller than an uncooked basmati rice

when one was prodded it smashed apart like a waxy soft gallstone, as if it had been cooked well, as if that's any consolation. i hate wasted food, but hate parasite infesation even more. Tweet
