Laura, do you think it's the Iodine? Might be?

Stop the Iodine and just OP without it for a week.

As far as the translucence, we had a discussion about that when this forum first started. Some got sort of freaked about about that too.

But all in all, we've had OPers here that have been doing it for a long time with no enamel damage.
