Hey M+W --
Thanks -- I am not sure what is going on. There is this translucency and I am not sure if maybe the C took off some sort of childhood dental sealants (? that is the real wild card...I don't know what exactly was put on my teeth before I stopped going to the dentist! But think there was a veneer (?) or sealant or coat, because there is a difference between two separate parts of the tooth, and now it looks like -- well, this is so hard to describe. And come to think of it I did stop the
Iodine and use the coll. silver, so I wonder if that could be it?
But I have been working on remin with bone broths, etc. and recently saw some sort of nasty sounding dessicated bone wafers to step that up which I will order with my birthday $$$ coming up. (Isn't that just what everyone always wanted for their 40th birthday --
Iodine and dessicated bone wafers? mmmmmmmyyyyyyyuck!
It's not an all-over cast to the teeth so I don't think it's OP, if that makes sense -- when I used the great big thing of olive oil my mom gave me last winter, I definitely saw an all-over greenish-yellow (well, chartreuse, I guess) cast to my teeth (which did go away). This is more random splotches and toward the non-gum part of the teeth, so OP is probably not staining them.
Now that I think about it, I wonder if the CS +
Iodine bonded to form silver
Iodide and is lodging in my teeth...trapper said not to use them close together for this reason, but it was a little too late for that, and it is a grayish-blue color. But my skin is fine (the site I visited for silver
Iodide info said exposed skin will turn bluish-gray -- but it did not mention the teeth).
Nothing painful and I am still typing, though!
Thanks + hope everyone is having a great weekend....
Laura
