Everything in your post is very sound cept I have issues with the Mag Ox. Do you know what effects it has on the alkilinizing effects of the lemon? On a nutritionally limited protocol like the MC do you know the effects of the Mag Ox on the bodys ability to utilize the little nutrition and energy giving carbs from the Maple syrup? Do you know the effects on of the Mag Ox on digestion?
If you already know that it effects the electrolyte balance then I would say it's not a "safe" across the board recommendation since most nubees haven't a clue of the signs of electrolyte imbalance or it's symptoms. In theory getting the most toxins out is a good idea but in actual practice and understanding that the system still has to process these toxins as they are being released. Too many toxins released at once can overload the system and make a person quite uncomfortable on one end and quite ill on the other. Add to that electrolyte imbalance and it could actually get quite dangerous. More is not necesarily better.
As you can plainly see from the posts most nubees can barely whine their way through a "minimum" 10 day fast. You start adding things that will possibly/likely cause more ill symptoms and actual dangerous effects like electrolyte imbalance and they could get into trouble if they hafta function in everyday life situations like at work etc. So I would hafta say a resounding NO to the Mag Oxide to any "inexperienced" person doing the MC.
The #1 safest line of defense is drinking more water to keep things diluted and moving out.
The MC a very simple elegant detox protocol that does an amazing job all on it's own but it is just a tool and in the bigger picture it's in the best interest of folks in the long run to come to terms with the reality that they are not going to cleanse out a lifetimes worth of toxins in on fell swoop and that these cleanses are just tools and that the real #1 goal will always be nutrition and exercise and that the cleanses ain't "it".
