Re: Iodine and Night Sweats

I am a 34 year old female and I had several "hot flashes" after starting iodine. I think only once during the night, but I would get unbearably hot and have to shed clothes and starting fanning like I was menopausal.

I think it has to do with the thyroid adjusting to the Iodine and also effects on hormones. Haven't had a hot flash in months.

I think if you tough it out, they will go away.
