I have had this terrible disease since 1993. YOu name the meds I've tried them.
Yes, a hot shower helps but not long. Massage helps,not long.
I have from not much helps.

Has your dr ever suggessted other meds? Neurontin, Soma, cymbalta,reflan, any pain meds such as ultram, talwin,oxycontin, darvocet, there are many others.
Has he mentioned a stellate block, beir block?
Ask him about theses or do research online for others.

I have had stellste & Beir blocks.Great relief stopped the pain for a period.
I now have a doral cord stimulator that blocks the burning pain.I still need block ever so often,but to stop the burning it was worth it to me.
I also have a journal I keep daily of my pain level
