I am very thin also. I tried the candida diet and the caprylic acid etc.. but it didn't help. It wasn't until I figured out the heavy metal connection to my chronic health problems that I started to heal. I started out with the macrobiotic diet which started to turn my health around. I believe it is because I found out I'm Blood type A and it is the closest healthy Diet to the blood type A IMO. Then started using Modiflan (a concentrated seaweed) which got rid of my heavy metals, the nickel and cadmium. I used urine tests before and after to test heavy metals when using it. Then started using Chlorella powder daily as a heavy metal chelator and Chlorella also works as a vitamin supplement. Miso soup was a great addition. I have also used cilantro one week on and a few weeks off as I read the body detoxes heavy metals in stages. I feel much better now than I ever have. I haven't gained the weight back yet but I look a whole lot healthier in my face and body proportion. Since I have come to this forum I have found that oilpulling is an excellent addition to any health protocol. It helped me get rid of my allergies and plaque on my teeth and has done wonders for my complexion. It also helped my eyesight improve. I have been experimenting lately with Iodine and have found it allows me to eat foods I could not tolerate before and has helped my body temperature go from 96.7 to 98.2. I believe it's helping my thyroid. I know when your thin it's hard to find things that work. So I just thought I would share with you what helped me. This of course is my humble opinion.
