Re: Colonies and Genetics, edited

Thanks for the time to type all that Glaxony- wow, I never would have considered genetics. I was just thinking something today too- what was "normally" done in our family of origin- is what we are most likely to carry on with, habits etc. I thought of this as I walked out into the wash room and the pungent odor of cow crap hit my nostrils...from my husband's boots! Things we have always just considered "the cowboy way of life"... I'm so much more aware of things now. Yesterday, I had to get after the 11 year old granddaughter for being out in the horse corral, planning on riding her horse barefooted, and bareback- back idea to begin with- walking all through the horse crap! THEN she comes in the house to watch tv, with her feet on the couch! So, I'm getting them trained to come in the house first thing and head to the bathroom to wash their hands with soap...now I'm going to have to start meeting them at the door with a pan of warm, soapy water for them to wash their bare feet before they come into the house!

I'm sure alot of these parasites I have now at the age of 48, I've had for years and years from stuff just like that that I've never paid attention to before. My husband was divorced for 16 years before I married him..and he's harder to train than the grandkids!

Thanks for the info!
