I am only going by experience on this one, and I have studied the issue. The area of the brain the drug targets, is in the same area many neuro-toxins generated by certain pathogens including yeasts\fungals end up. If the drug causes competition for certain cell receptors, it could break the cycle created by toxins. I agree with Tec, and say the drug is invasive on the liver, despite a short half-life.
It does not go good with alcohol that is for sure!
I am opting to stay away from these types of drugs anyway, from now on.
